![]() Survivor TestimonialsRocky Mountain Cancer Centers is privileged to care for thousands of cancer patients each year. The following section highlights the thoughts of various patients who have survived their cancer battle. There's not a person at RMCC who doesn't make you feel like you're the most important person in their world.
Sharon Is this the end of my chemo? Nurses You are all the best. Mark I'm thankful to RMCC who I completely trusted to make the right decisions concerning my care.
Christie The doctors and nurses at RMCC are the greatest; they are positive, helpful and very upbeat.
Eric I adore RMCC's staff and physicians. They've never made me feel like just a patient. Beth RMCC makes me think of a dollop of homemade ice cream with a sprinkling of Necco wafers in a crystal goblet, comfort in elegant surroundings and simple abundance. It really is like the story of the loaves and fishes because no matter how many of us come trooping through these doors, the people at RMCC make me feel significant, important and of great worth. Now that's a miracle.
Margaret As Dr. Huffman entered the room, he was straight to the point. "I wish I had better news for you," he said, "but you have acute leukemia." With that began a pilgrimage of healing. The farther one gets from the treatment, the less distinctly the emotions of the time are remembered. The important thing is that I am alive and grateful to be so now over eight years later. We are so grateful for the care and help we received from the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center doctors, nurses and medical professionals. It was a team effort. Ken When I was first presented with the stem cell transplant option, it sounded totally overwhelming. But I quickly felt that those who were presenting the facts were quite capable and experienced with this complicated ordeal. As the process unfolded, I literally placed my life in RMCC's guiding hands, and they gently maneuvered me through the maze of "stem cell transplant." Doris On March 27, 2000, I had a stem cell transplant. I was apprehensive and didn't make the final decision until after I met with the nurses at RMCC. They were on call 24 hours a day and always available to help with a difficult situation, with their care and concern, and with their guidance. They never let us down. Having a stem cell transplant is the hardest thing I have ever done, but I am very grateful to RMCC for the care that they gave me. Emma David |
