Congratulations to medical oncologist Dr. Sami Diab of our Aurora and Parker sites, recently elected to the Executive committee for The US Oncology’s (USON) Genetic Risk Evaluation and Testing (GREAT) program. The GREAT Executive committee is responsible for input related to the practice of cancer genetics and to help develop, standardize, and implement best practices as they relate to genetic risk evaluation and testing. Executive committee membership is representative of physician and non-physician cancer genetics thought leaders from USON practices across the nation.
Dr. Diab also serves as Chair of the GREAT Research subcommittee focused on clinical research related to cancer genetics and will continue in that role in addition to his new role as an Executive committee member.
USON sites actively participating in GREAT in addition to Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers include, Arizona Oncology, Compass Oncology, Minnesota Oncology, Missouri Cancer Associates, New York Oncology Hematology, Texas Oncology, Virginia Cancer Specialists and Virginia Oncology Associates.
