BECAUSE NO TWO CANCERS ARE THE SAME
As a Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers patient your cancer care will be overseen by a medical oncologist/hematologist. As your primary cancer care physician he/she will manage your treatment plans and medical therapies—including the administering of chemotherapy; monitor and evaluate your progress; and collaborate with other medical caregivers on additional treatment options like radiation therapy. He/she will lead a team of highly trained clinical providers including physician assistants, nurse practitioners and oncology-trained nurses, fighting cancer on your behalf.
Because no two cancers are alike and no two patients are alike, no two chemotherapy treatment plans are alike. We use the latest chemotherapy systemic drug regimens. For patients whose chemo will be administered in our cancer treatment centers we offer spacious areas bathed in natural light from which you can look on tranquil surroundings like the Arapahoe Glacier basin in Boulder or the Healing Garden in Lakewood. The spacious treatment bays include reclining chairs, internet access and other amenities. At many locations private chemotherapy rooms are also available. For patients prescribed oral oncolytics we offer the convenience of in-office dispensing.
