Staying Nourished During Cancer Treatment

Please join us for a 90-minute class where we will discuss the most common side effects that affect your ability to eat, drink, and stay nourished during cancer treatment.

Topics will include the nutrition management of:

You will receive practical tips, handouts, and recipes to take home, in addition to recommendations for cookbooks and other resources.

During this 90-minute class, we will explore the common types of taste changes brought on by cancer treatment. Dietitian Amber Thomas, RDN, CSO will explain how to incorporate key ingredients into meals and snacks that can cut through or enhance the flavor of foods. Throughout the presentation, Amber will prepare one of the recipes listed below, and class participants will be able to taste samples provided.
