Provider Biography
Dr. Pride is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist with advanced expertise in the management of breast cancer, benign breast disease, high-risk lesions, and hereditary cancer syndromes. His clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to guiding patients through every stage of their breast health journey. He has a particular interest in de-escalated surgical approaches, especially in the axilla, and incorporates advanced oncoplastic techniques to achieve optimal oncologic and aesthetic outcomes.
A former Division I athlete at Dartmouth College, Dr. Pride brings discipline, focus, and precision to his surgical practice. He completed his general surgery residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by fellowship training in breast surgical oncology through Harvard Medical School–affiliated hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

My approach to breast cancer is grounded in the most current evidence, integrating cutting-edge surgical techniques and state-of-the-art care to deliver the best possible outcomes. I believe that optimal care is achieved through a collaborative, team-based model, working closely with medical and radiation oncology as well as dedicated support services for each patient. Above all, I am deeply committed to clear, compassionate communication, ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their care.
