Care Philosophy

I have been in healthcare for several years as an oncology RN and NP. During this time, I have found that patient involvement in their care is important and that this can be achieved through building interpersonal relationships between with patients (and their family/caregivers). I want patients involved in their care through shared decision making to identify goals and develop care plans to achieve this. My care philosophy is focused on compassionate patient-centered, holistic care.
