Provider Biography

Dr. Katrina Oyague is a board certified general surgeon with a dedicated focus on the surgical treatment of the breast including breast cancer, benign breast disease, and breast cancer risk reduction strategies. Dr. Oyague is a specialized breast cancer surgeon, but she is also comfortable with general surgery procedures, including minimally invasive techniques for cancer treatment. Not only is she well-respected in the medical community, but she is also well-loved by her patients.

Dr. Oyague is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Her medical degree was earned at the University of Colorado Denver after completing a double major in Molecular Biology and German Language at the University of Denver. Dr. Oyague’s internship and residency in general surgery were completed at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Dr. Oyague speaks both German and Spanish conversationally. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children and enjoying the great Colorado outdoors.
