Care Philosophy

My interest in hematology/oncology began while working on my MPH with a position at a cancer registry office and then completing my thesis on cervical cancer prevention with the HPV vaccine in Tanzania. I continued to follow my passion for oncology in PA school, followed by four years working as an inpatient advance practice provider on a leukemia/bone marrow transplant unit at the University of Arizona in Tucson. I believe meaningful connection and personalized education are the two most important things I can offer to patients newly diagnosed and/or admitted to the hospital.
